THE MONOVARIETY PAR EXCELLENCE
Arbequina, which originated in Mallorca and Lerida, is the best known Spanish variety and the most highly valued in the international marketplace. It is a very fruity oil, in which the taste of apples predominates. Fresh and slightly spicy, it has a soft, delicate and balanced flavour.
This is the oil of “pan amb tomaquet” (toasted bread with tomato) par excellence, ideal for simple salads and vegetables. Its use is recommended with fishes that do not have a very intense flavour. It is irreplaceable in desserts, above all baked goods especially those made with fruit or chocolate.
